Casino affiliate marketing is decided in private. Placement is bought behind a login, rankings are sold as editorial, and the player reading a “top ten” has no way of knowing what changed hands to produce it. The ranking looks like judgement and is actually an invoice.

This board does the same trade in public. Position is bought — that part is not disguised — but the price, the buyer, the date and every previous owner are on the page. An operator at the top is at the top because it paid to be there, and anyone can see exactly what it paid.

A board of operators paying for placement, on its own, gives players nothing. So 20% of every pound spent goes into one prize pot that every visitor to this site is playing for. It is not a bonus and not a sweetener: it is what makes the spending worth watching. The harder two operators compete over a market, the larger the prize everyone here is playing for.

Money buys markets. It does not buy a rating. Players rate the operators they have dealt with, and no rating is published until an operator has 25 of them, because a rating built on a handful of reports is one an operator can manufacture. Below that an operator reads “Not rated”, which is itself information. An operator cannot pay to raise a rating, suppress a report or remove a complaint.
